Riding with other riders

Other Pedalsim riders on nearby roads appear on your map while you ride, as round pictures that move along with them. Riders who overlap on screen merge into a numbered bubble; tap it to see who is in it.

Beside the map, a list shows the eight closest riders within 10 km. Riders ahead of you are above your own row and riders behind are below it, each with their flag, their name, how far ahead or behind they are, and their power in watts and W/kg. Riders coming the other way stay on the map but are left out of the list. On a phone the list shows W/kg without watts.

Your name, flag and picture

Set them in Settings, under Multiplayer profile. Until you choose a name you appear with a generated one, such as User12345. Your W/kg appears once you have set your weight.

Riding solo, or hiding your power

Riding with others is on by default. Turn off Ride with other riders to ride solo: Pedalsim does not connect to other riders at all, so nobody sees you and you see nobody. Turn off Show my power to other riders to stay on the map without your watts and W/kg.

Riding with friends

Pick the same route at the same time and you ride together: you see each other on the map and in the list, and the list tells you who is ahead and by how much. Riding with others is free on every plan.
