Ride Mont Ventoux on your smart trainer
The Giant of Provence from Bédoin: a gentle start, a long forest section at 9 to 10 percent, then the bare white summit.

What the climb is like
The first five kilometres are easy. At Saint-Estève the road turns into the forest and stays steep for around ten kilometres without a break. Above Chalet Reynard the trees stop and the last six kilometres cross open scree, where the wind decides how hard it is.
How to ride it in Pedalsim
Mont Ventoux is one of Pedalsim's built-in famous routes: open it from the button below, or under Famous routes in the app, and ride. Your trainer reproduces every change in its gradient as you climb, and the wind is the live weather at the climb, so a headwind on an exposed section feels like one.
Pedalsim uses the real wind, so a mistral day on the top section feels like one. Ride it on a calm day first, then again when it blows.
Figures are approximate: sources measure the climb from slightly different points.
